8月25日(周二)
YAMAHA MLT RACING TEAM出發前往第四站亞太公路錦標賽:泰國站。這個賽道是我們兩位賽車手及車隊首次參賽。我們要準備的工作很多,包括:更換機器丶安裝電器零件丶找一個適合這個場地的設定,而兩位車手也要儘快適應這條賽道。
8月28日(周五)
今天早上第一節的不計時練習,26號李鄭鵬做出了2’00.879,這次他適應新的賽道非常快。而另一位車手28號蒙醒斌暫時還在調整合適他的賽車設定。下午還有兩節不計時的練習,應該可以做更好的時間!
8月29日(周六)
今天早上的排位賽,26號李鄭鵬排20位,而28號蒙醒斌排28位。這個成績並不是太理想,下午兩點進行的第一場比賽車手必須更努力去爭取好的成績!
在第一場比賽中26號李鄭鵬有明顯的進步,掌握了如何保持位置,也提升了在群鬥的技巧。以現在比賽激烈的情況下,他在32台車當中拿到第15名確實不容易。如果要再爭取更前的位置,就要看看他明天能否有理想的起步,能跟上第一集團才有機會躍升前10名。
28號車手蒙醒斌也有非常好的表現,完成了十圈的賽事後得到了22名。他的進步相當大,圈速也做出了2’00:53,是他最快的時間。賽後他説還有幾個彎道可以改善,希望明天會跑得好一點,目標是前15名。



這個高水平的亞太賽讓我們車隊及兩位車手有明顯的進步,如果有更多中國車手參與,應該會提升不少中國車手的實力。明天還有一回合的賽事,我們必須共同向目標進發!
8月30日(周日)
今天的第二回合比賽中,26號李鄭鵬承接了第一場的比賽氣勢,起步後在第二集團的16台車當中守在第20位。過程中不斷互換位置,有進攻也有防守,前後的參賽者紛紛發生意外因而退出比賽。進入最後兩圈,各車手都開始盡最後努力,大家的位置變化很大,而前面的三台車發生碰撞後摔倒,26號李鄭鵬當時大概排在 13位左右,預計在最後一圈可以超越三台車進入前十名。



突然有車手在進彎的時候壓過來,26號李鄭鵬在自然反應之下避開及減速,沒料到另一台車進高速彎的時候撞到了他的前輪,因此摔倒了,車滑得很遠,他無奈地退出了比賽。
而28號蒙醒斌在第三集團也爭奪激烈,與88號韓國車手最爲接近,經常互換位置。最後以第18名完成賽事,比第一場的排名躍升四位,有很大的進步。

Yamaha MLT Racing Team @ 2015 ARRC Round 4: Chang International Circuit, Thailand
Excitement filled our team as the plane took off from Hong Kong International Airport taking us to participate Round 4 of the Asia Road Racing Champion in Buriram, Thailand. There is a lot of preparation work, such as: installing new sets of engine, installing electronic parts, and adjusting a suitable setting for this new track. Our riders LI ZHENG PENG and MENG XING BIN must familiarise themselves with this track as soon as they can.
Practice
#26 LI ZHENG PENG adapted to this circuit quickly in Practice 1, completing 15 laps with his personal best at 2:00.879. Surely, an ideal result for his first attempt at the Chang International Circuit. MENG XING BIN, on the other hand, is still trying to adjust his rhythm for this track. With two more practices still to go in the afternoon, both contestants should be able finish the day with better results.
Qualifying
Qualifying round took place in the morning of Day 2, in which #26 LI ZHENG PENG and #28 MENG XING BIN earned 20th and 28th spot on the grid. Both riders must strive in their first race in the afternoon for better results.
Race 1
#26 LI ZHENG PENG had a noticeable improvement in Race 1, he defended his position and improved his skills in battling positions with other riders. This was a very intense and action-packed race, it was challenging to finish in 15th position amongst 32 other riders. LI will have to put himself out for a very good start tomorrow so as to keep up with the top group if he wishes to push forward his position to top ten.
Our other rider #28 MENG XING BIN showed considerable improvement as well, finishing 22nd with 20’22.212- This was a huge improvement for him! MENG hopes to improvise his turns, and aims to move forward his rank to the top 15 at tomorrow’s race.

Asia Road Racing Championship has enabled the team and both riders to higher progression. If more Chinese riders participated, it would allow more riders to advance and enhance their strength.
Race 2
#26 LI ZHENG PENG has shown great consistency, maintaining his attitude and position from race 1. He defended his position in the second group among 16 other riders, battling back and forth throughout the race. The competition in this group was tight and intense, racing so closely to each other, causing riders off the track and falls.



Entering the last two laps of the race, riders began to pick up their pace and put in their best effort to the finishing line
. #26 LI ZHENG PENG was approximately positioned thirteenth when three riders in front of him collided and crashed. Battling to proceed to the first group was still possible for LI until one of the riders hit LI’s front wheel causing his bike crash out at the turn.
Meanwhile in the third group, #28 MENG XING BIN and the other Korean rider (#88) was intensely battling back and forth. MENG finished eighteenth- which is a remarkable improvement from yesterday.
