the 1st
round
of the 2013
Northern
China Elite
racing
Festival was
set on this
2 days
holiday
instead on a
weekend as
all cases.
The 2013
China
Northern
Elite
Racing
Festival
3 rounds
has been
sanctioned
by the
China
Motorsport
Federation
(FASC)
and
supervised
by the
Beijing
Motorsport
Federation,
this
Event
was
enlisted
into
being 1
of the
events
in the
Beijing
2013
Sports
Festival
so all
the
Gov’t
and
parties
involves
were all
very
excited
about
this
event.
The 2013 Northern
China Racing
Festival is
organized and
promoted by Unique
Motorsports (BJ) on
4 wheels and BG on 2
wheels events and
Race control was
operated by the
management company
of the Chengdu race
Circuit Group.
Due to the
extreme busy
calendar of the
Beijing golden Port
Circuit as Golden
Port is the only
Circuit in N. China
so the track was
always booked solid
by the many Car
manufacturers for
various promotions
and events. Then
there is the
difficulties in
getting sanctioning
from the Federations
as they have
extremely high
expectation on
racing events held
under their nose, so
for a long time,
this is the 1st
Official racing
event in Beijing and
N.China, everyone
was excited and
really looking
forward to the
actual race.
As early as
Chinese New Year in
Feb 2013, all the
event organizers
involved has met and
discussed about how
to operate the event
and after many
months of hard work
and negotiating, the
1st race was
finalized in late
Mar and everything
is a go.
The BG 2 wheel
tech team was at the
Beijing Circuit a
week before the
race, due to the
Beijing Track is a
short 2.3 km track
and in order to
avoid any problem,
the Super Bike entry
was limited to 25
bikes divided into
classes of 1000cc
Class 1, 600cc Class
II and the Beijing
Elite Cup specially
for the up and
coming riders in
Beijing, but still,
There was a big
number of bikers in
Beijing and bikers
from Chengdu and
Guangdong who wanted
to do the race but
all late entries
were being turned
away.
Due to the
Golden Port
track was booked
by China BMW
from 15/4/13 all
the way to
30/4/13, so
there was no
open practice
for either cars
or bikes, and in
order to ensure
everyone has a
chance to
practice before
the race, so we
have secured a
late afternoon 2
hours for the 2
days leading up
to the race so
that both cars
and bikes can
practice.
1/5/13, the
weather was great
with nice warm sun
and a cool breeze,
there was to be 6
car groups and the
bikers’ 3 classes
was grouped as 1
group, 1/4/13 was
the 2 practice and
the late afternoon
Qualifying session
that went well with
everyone making
great improvement
despite most has not
ride for quite some
time.
2/5/13 was the
actual race day, 11
am is the opening
ceremony attended by
the Deputy Director
of the China
Motorsport
Federation and also
the Sec General of
Beijing Motorsport
Federation.
BG’s stunt pro
was next on the
track and as usual
brought the crowd to
their feet and
getting all the
attention as
everyone was at the
Grandstand and Pit
wall watching BG’s
Sammo ding his usual
great Stunt moves
The China
National CCTV5
and CCTV9 crew
was there on
hand and both
did a personal
interview on
Sammo, so within
a few mins,
Sammo was on
National TV
viewed by
hundreds of
Millions viewers
making him one
of the most
famous western
person In China.
The Super Bike
race was scheduled
at 4 pm and by then,
huge crowds of
Bikers and friends
has gathered at the
Bike’s Paddock area
and everyone was
eager to go.
The Bike race was
definitely the
highlight event of
the day as the 24
bikes at the
starting grid was
the 1st seen at the
Beijing Track and
everyone gave high
praise to BG for the
great event
organized.
The race was
intense and tightly
formed, to eveyone’s
surprise, Beijing
Favorite LiPeng Yu
was over took by
also B eijing’sWang
Nan in Lap 2 and
couldn’t catch the
blistering pace of
Wang, meanwhile,
BG’s Spanish Rider
Ramon was riding to
his best and was 3rd
in the front running
a lonely race.
The 2013 China
Northern Racing
Festival ended in a
extremely high note,
everyone was having
a great time after
such a long time
without much racing
activities in
Beijing.
Today, Beijing,
being the capital of
China has enjoyed
some tremendous
growth and due to
its special status,
the wealth as shown
during these 2 days
at the race were
staggering, being
the 1st race of the
region after a long
time, people were
spending big $ on
their race cars and
bikes and the city
is full of expansive
cars and exotic
bikes. Beijing is
definitely the most
important 2/4 wheels
market in the whole
of China.
The next Northern
China Racing
festival will be at
the 2-4/8/2013
weekend, with the
great success of
this event, everyone
was extremely
optimistic about the
rest of the 2
Beijing rounds and
matching the time in
August, it is
planned that the
August Northern
China Racing
Festival will be
hosted together with
the Beijing August
Music Festival and
if this does
happens, this will
be a mega event that
no one can afford to
miss.

5月1-2日是中国劳动节长假期,
所以2013年的第一场中国北方精英赛车节-北京站安排在这两天假期举行,
不同一向的赛事都是在周末.
2013年3场北方精英赛车节是由中国汽车运动联合会批核和和北京汽摩运动协会监管.
这个赛事同时亦被列入为2013年北京运动节里的赛车运动项目,
所以
所有的官方和组织单位所有人为这赛事都感到极为兴奋.
2013年北方精英赛车节是由北京最具规模的赛车运动组织和推广公司“优尼客”，成都赛车场的管理公司和BG赛车中心联合主办的大型赛事。
由于北京金港国际赛车场是中国北方的唯一一个赛车场,
所以赛道经常被很多汽车制造商为各种推广和活动而长期包场.
加上在北京举办赛事牵涉很多官方单位，所以很难拿到所有的批文
, 所以在很长的一段时间里,
这是在中国北京的首次大型官方赛事.所有人都很兴奋和很期待这重要的赛事.
早在2013年2月过年的时候,所有赛事的组织单位已经在讨论如何推广这个系列赛事,
经过很多月的努力工作和协商后,
第一场在5月1-2日的赛事终于在3月份敲定了。
BG的摩托车技术团队在比赛的前一周就到达北京金港国际赛车场作准备，由于北京赛道比较短和只有2.3公里,
为了过多竞赛车辆会难以控制和避免出任何问题,
超级摩托车报名最后限于25台.其中分组为
: 公开一组/1000cc ，
公开二组/600cc
和特别为北京当地的车手而设的“北方精英杯”
，
但由于北京和周边的摩托车爱好者太多，所以有很多北京，成都，广东的车手
都因为迟报名而没能参加比赛。
由于金港赛车场被中国宝马汽车从4月15至4月30日包场，本来没有赛道开放时间给汽车和摩托车手练习和调教车辆的时间,
但经赛事主办单位多方调整后，最后获得了在比赛前两天的2日下午从5点到7.30
pm的时间给汽车和摩托赛车练习。
在5-1当天
天气极好,阳光普照和有微风，上午是6组汽车和摩托车组相继练习时段，下午则是所有组别的计时赛，尽管很多车手已经很长时间没有练习，但计时赛段里很多车手还是拿到很好的排位时间。
5月2日是正赛的日子，上午11点是开幕仪式,
由中国汽车/摩托运动协会副主席和北京汽摩运动协会的秘书长主持仪式。仪式下来是BG的澳大利亚特技车手三毛的精彩特技表演，
一如以前一样，三毛的表演,吸引了所有人的注意力和得到所有看台上的观众和在维修站墙的赛事人员的大理喝彩和鼓励。
中国中央电视5台的赛车栏目摄影队看过三毛的精彩表演后，更当场为三毛做了个人的专访，
所以在最近的几天，三毛可能成为中国数以千万的的观众观看,
让他成为了中国极出名的西方人之一.
超级摩托车正赛被安排在下午4点,
但在摩托车的维修区和后场已经聚了大批摩托车手们的亲朋戚友等待车手们开始比赛。
摩托车比赛绝对是整个赛车节最精彩的赛事，
24台大排量摩托车同时在起跑排位集合是北京赛道首次见到的最壮观场面，
每个人都对BG组织这么大型赛事给予高度的赞同。
整场比赛极为紧凑，最令所有人意料不到的是北京的大热门李鹏宇在第圈时被同是北京的车手王楠超过，在极力追赶下，最后还是没能拿回失地以第2名冲线，
同时，BG的西班牙籍车手Ramon发挥到他最好的状态,在没有竞争对手下拿到全厂第3名和1000
cc组别的第二名。
2013年中国北方赛车节在极高的关注中完满结束,
所有人都极为开心的渡过这个难得的一个赛事和节日。
今天的北京，由于它具最为特别的地位和作为中国的首都，
在过去几年有了飞跃的发展。
在这几天的比赛期间，
我们看到北京独有的气势和显示出来财富令人惊叹，作为很长一段时间以来的首场大型赛事,
车队和车手们投入大量的人力，物力和财力在他们比赛的汽车和摩托车上,
这座城市到处都看到昂贵的豪车和天价的摩托车，
北京肯定是中国里最为重要的汽车和摩托车的整车和高性能产品市场。
下一场中国北方赛车节将在8月的2-4日的周末.
由于这次如此成功的赛事,
所有人都极为看好在北京接下来的8月和11月的两场赛车节，
我们这个赛事组办单位亦正在与北京将同时在8月份举行的一个大型音乐节相讨，看看如时间可以配合，8月份的中国北方精英赛车节将与音乐节一起举行,
