事發經過:(隧道口攝車時輕微碰撞)
On 13 Dec 2002, Princess Rd towards Hung Hom Habour Tunnel, at
about 9:30 to 9:40 am, traffic was not smooth. I was going
slowly in between 2 lanes. A private vehicle hit my right rear
side. The vehicle front wheel hit my exhausted air pile
slightly.
人命財物傷亡損毀:
My bike's has stretched mark over the exhausted gas pile. The
vehicle also has some strecthed mark.
當時感受:
OH....... My rear part was hit by the front part of other
vehicle. I should have no liability. I won't pay any
compensation. IF compensation, I get from the driver?
Result, HK$100 I paid to the driver to settle. I read ibike,
knowing that if a motorcycle is not keeping in a proper lane.
The court may hold the rider bears liability.
事後影響:
if passing in between 2 lanes is not good, should I go on
doing this? I have many years driving experience. Seldom has
accident occurred.
I always pay keen attention when I passed between the queue of
the vehicles, I am always even slowly their most motorcycles
when passing two lanes of queue of vehicles???

肇事原因及教訓啟示:
Police officer came and said that I should bear 80% liability
because I was not using the proper lane at the time of the
crash. I know this is the usual negotiation technique. I would
ignore or selectively accept their advice.
they will say, u better settle between urself, otherwise,
report to insurer, court hearing, 5 marks deduction, loss of
NCB, time, etc....
我們的理解是,當兩旁車輛在靜止狀態時,電單車司機在安全情況下攝車是合法的。但如果兩旁車輛都在移動中,但電單車仍在兩線中繼續攝車便是電單車司機不對。
在現實世界中,除非電單車以高速通過車罅,否則房車司機應看見電單車而會暫停轉線。(駕駛技術和警覺性不足的房車司機除外)
