Finally I crashed.
29 Apr 2006 Sat morning, Hai Hong Road (turn left from the
Cantonese Road, TST). I rushed to go to PolyU to finish the
assignment before I go to work at Hong Kong side. The Hai Hong
Road was full of padestrian as usual. The road was wet, I drove
a bit too fast (about 50 km/h) and I wanted to go to my
destination desparately... Damn the idiotic padestrian who
walked on the lane without even looking backwards for any
approaching vehicle. Well, I triggered the brake for the front
wheel.... BAH!
The idiot was fine but my bike lost control and slipped over for
about 5 meter.
Some people (including the idiotic padestrian) helped me to lift
the bike.
That's not the end of the story...
I managed to continue my journal and did my stuff... Then I
called police station to send an ambulance to treat my wounds...
I told them "I WAS NOT ASKING FOR POLICE'S ASSISTANCE, JUST SENT
AN AMBULANCE OVER THERE". Then an ambulance came and did the
first aids stuff. Just before I decide to go to hospital with
them. Three police bikes comes (YES, "THREE").
Polices: "Where is the bike?"
I: "I parked it safely."
Polices (feeling nervous): "What??!! You should not move your
bike!! You could call your friend for help, or else the police
towed it away."
I: "I only had a small accident and I could drove the bike
myself despite my injury."
The 廢柴 polices started to state their position... ba ba ba...
and I argued back (500 words deleted...)
Finally, a senior officer came and agreed to let me go as if the
police didn't know anything...
The whole issue wasted me for about 30 min and delayed my
further medical treatment (I went to hospital later myself where
I was given a 破傷風 injection, had my wounds clean up properly and
given some pills).
My whole point is: can I use the ambulance service for a car
accident which involves only myself (no damage of public asset
and no 3rd parties). I don't even need police to investigate
who caused the accident (me or the padestrian).
Hong Kong has too many polices who have too little meaningful
thing to do ... Four officer deals with one small car
accident??!!

人命財物傷亡損毀:
I suffered slight injury on my hands (i don't wear glove) and my
kneel; and you know what happened to the fairing of the bike.
當時感受:
Nothing you can do to avoid accident (especially for a guy who
is impulsive, like me).
Motorbike is dangerous and ABS won't save you.
事後影響:
Want to tell my mom but don't know how to start it ... when she
saw the bandages on my hand and asked why, I just told her in a
very casually way that I dropped from my bike. Then, she asks
no further...
肇事原因及教訓啟示:
I am gonna sell my bike for the sakes of everyone loving and
needing me. 鐵騎快語：
炒車當然慘，被盲H途人累炒更慘。不過慘還慘，你做錯左五件事：
第一錯：
當然係話你不小心駕駛啦。在馬路上駕駛，一定會預計埋失魂途人會有可能危害你的可能性。你自己都識得話你當時係趕時間交功課，
當時係濕地，而你則一心想盡早去到目的地。於是便易犯不小心駕駛o羅。駕駛者有受過訓練通過考試合格先可以駕駛機動車輛，但行人唔需要考牌都可以行出街，所以駕駛者在行車時有責任去預計埋行人的不當舉止。
第二錯：
香港警察唔係廢柴。程序上你打得999叫白車，一定會有警察跟進了解情件。你話你自炒，但係車都唔見，又唔係事發現場，俾著你係警察，你話奇怪唔奇怪先？
有冇需要進行調查，係警察話事唔係你話事。佢地冇告你不小心駕駛，算你好彩。
第三錯：
緊急救傷車係預留俾緊急有需要的傷者使用。你出事之後重可以繼續駕駛，交完功課辦完事先至打電話叫白車，咁樣就係不適當使用緊急救援服務。以你的傷勢，你應該自己搭車去醫院睇急症，留番部白車俾真正有需要的人，而且咁樣亦都唔會有警察問你話。(如果你有戴合規格的電單車手套，分分鐘冇受傷添！)
第四錯：
人為的駕駛方法不當，唔可以賴落車度。Forza
Z引擎在車尾，頭輪負重不足，所以制動主力一定係尾制。你鎖左頭轆，表示你操作不當，同部車的設計無關。ABS係俾白痴用，稱職駕駛者重複使用兩段式煞車便可避免鎖轆失控的問題。
第五錯：
遇到挫折淨係識得賴行人賴架車鬧警察，但偏偏無反省自己的過失，重話電單車好危險要賣車唔再玩。究竟你係poly讀緊咩書？教你咁樣唸野o既？
雖然閣下文字運用能力幾好，可以寫到一篇咁詳細的炒車報告，但係在駕駛方面同埋對香港社會法、理、情三方面的了解，就唔係咁足夠。
