Yamaha Tracer 900自2015年登場以來，一直備受全球車迷熱愛，銷量特破超過三萬五千臺的佳績。三年產品週期過去了，也是時候引入Facelift版保持新鮮感。而今次Tracer 900更一分為二，有標準版和GT版，標準版預計2018年三月上架，GT版要等到六月先上架。

Facelift內容包括外型和細節，例如車身兩側的啡呤都是全新設計，車鼻位置也都有新的入風口。新的鋁合金尾搖臂，副車架經過改良，確保能支撐硬尾箱的重量。尾避震特性也是全新調較，更適合高速巡航。

為了提升舒適度，座墊是全新設計。一如以往，司機座高可以作兩階段調較。新的風擋只需單手便可以調整高度。油缸前端增設油缸墊，尾扶手和乘客腳踏都經過改良，確保後座老闆坐得更開心，尾沙板都是全新設計。

2018 Tracer 900的轉向把手比以前收窄了少許，護手擋的體積也收斂了，讓騎士前臂可以縮入少少，避開行車時的亂流風壓，也更方便日常攝車和泊位。

雖然標準版都有更新，但只有GT版才有TFT顯示屏、金色筒身的全調式例立前叉、徒手調較尾避震預較功能、發熱手筒、Quick Shift System (QSS) 和一對原廠22升硬殼邊箱。

GT版也有定速巡航系統，這套cruise control技術和MT-10相同，在四波至六波之間，當車速在50-180km/h之間，便可以啟動定速巡航功能。調較車速的按鈕在左手制掣盒，可以每次以2km/h作為微調單位。

當使用掣動、極力子或油門之後，便會自動取消定速功能，回復人手控制車速。最開心係新車有Resume鍵，一按馬上回復之前的巡航設定，相當方便。
